Hi pressure drop, suggestions?
 

Just ran my first analysis in CFX. The pressure drop is twice as high (lab: 40 psi, analysis is close to 100 psi).

Any suggestions that I can tune in the analysis, so it's closer to reality.

I have simplified the system by taking springs out of the system. I would think that should result in less pressure drop.

I did the analysis in both ways, it did not seem to make a difference.

Also, I split the model in half, and put half as much flow through the inlet. Would that make the difference?

Can you provide a bit more details as to what you're trying to model and to do with your experiment?
