Dear all,

I have a steady and transient simulation with heat transfer. I would like to get the boundary layer in my simulation. How could I do that in both simulations? Velocity and thermal boundary layers

Thanks in advance

Hi,

This is easy to do in CFX-Post. Put a line item across the boundary layer and export the velocity, or create a chart from it. Easy.

If you mean you need to resolve boundary layer, then get your Y+ right for your mesh depending on your turbulent model.

If you mean from the post processing prespective do what Glenn says.
