Hi MR OND!

Have u ever tried ICEM?

Its all from points, curves, surfaces, their transformations, your own mesh stats with no limits(upto certain extent)for all unstr/structured mesh.

Got it.

Hello! I made several mesh with ICEM CFD 10 and 11 tetra and hexa. If you have a complex geometry I recommend you a tetra mesh, however if you can make hexa mesh, you will have more control of the boundary layer and Y+. I had better results with CFX with hexa mesh.

I've tested Harpoon (Cartesian mesh generator), this mesher is quick but is not so good as ICM CFD.

Best regard,

J.

Icem CFD is a very powerful tool for generating Hexa meshing, once you have a mesh you can just play around with the any kind of geometry modification... its saves lot of your time for repeatitive kind of work..

Hexa meshng with icem.i suppose you can get the best quality mesh compared with any other software

Yes i will agree with all of you.... Icem CFD is good tool for Very good mesh... We can play around once we generate the block file, for even many modifications in the geometry. Its a complete parametric tool for hexa meshing... But needs more patience while projection....

Thanks & reagrds Pratap Kumar DVS
