acceleration due to gravity(g) in CFX

Hi,

what is the default direction of acceleration due to gravity(g) in CFX. I couldnt find g specified in any of the tutorials. Is it not important? thanks in advance...ranjith

Hi Ranjith,

There is no default gravity specified in CFX, you need to give the g value and direction when it is required. It purely depends on the kind of simulation(whether g is required or not) and orientation of the model to specify direction.

Yes its purely depends on your solution. In CFX there is no default 'g' direction...

Thanks & Regards, Pratap
