Default Fluid-fluid Interface between different surfaces

Good morning, guys.

I would like to know if it is ok/reliable to have a simulation with fluid-fluid interface between different surfaces, being one of them generated by a surface mesh extrusion though an helix and the other being just a cylindrical surface.

This would be the best option for me to study a system which is very similar to a screw pump, and I managed to converge to a solution in CFX-Solver, but I would like to know if you guys have any idea on its reliability.

Thank you so much in advance.

Thiago Queiroz.

Hi,

Yes, joining different meshes with GGI interfaces works well.

Thank you a bunch, Glenn.

I am getting good results, just wanted to confirm it.
