Henry's law
I'm looking for a clue as to how the Henry's law option works in a multiphase simulation.
On the fluid pairs tab, the component pairs window shows the combination of components in gas and liquid - let's say oxygen and water. If I specify a Henry's law value, and a mass transfer co-efficient, how does CFX know to what component in the water to transfer the oxygen to. I can specify oxygen as a component of the water phase (variable mixture), but it will have different properties to the gas phase oxygen (such as density), so I have to specify a new material for the dissolved oxygen phase. How do I tell CFX that I want the ocygen to go to the oxygen component I define in the water phase ? Thanks, Sally. |
Re: Henry's law
Under Fluid Pairs select O2(aq)|O2(g) as a component pair and then Interface Equilibrium Model Option: Henry's Law
