I have got a geometry combustors realized in Sildworks. Is it importable in CFX without problem (about file extension)?

You can export it to Ansys Workbench and mesh it with CFX-Mesh. After that you just open the mesh on CFX-PRE.

To export to Ansys WB, save it as IGES on Solidworks. You also com link it directly to SW model. You sould have an Ansys menu on Solidworks where you can do that.

yoU must use Part1.SLDPRT file to open on Design Modeler. Forget this kind of iges. file. I had problems with iges. files! If you wanna simulate different parts of you complete body (=assembly), you have not to choose the "merge" option on Solid Works, when you are creating (extruding) the second part of your assembly on SW.
