Hi....Colleagues...

I made a mesh for room model.

it has nearly 9321195 elements.

I tend to open it using "Creat CFD simulation with mesh"

Although each elementary number like F.01.23 show in the tree veiw, there are no element in graphic window...

Where is my mesh gone?

Thank you for your concerns

Look carefull on your screen, it has probably been miniaturized beyond belief. Toggle your mouse and when you see a small dot flashing, zoom in on it.

Hi,

10 million elements!!?? That is a big mesh. Are you sure you need a mesh that big? If you do then there is no way you will run it in 32 bit, you will need 64 bit and it is going to be very slow (both the setup and simulation).

Thanks Glenn,

Actually, it is a radiant floor heating model.

As you know, it has a tiny radius (5mm) but extra long (nearly 10m) tube for water circulation.

When I reduce the mesh size to avoid to meet error, the number of total elements are up to nearly 10 MI.

Now I looking for a method to reduce the number of mesh.

Thanks

Hi,

You will then need to be careful to refine the mesh in the region of the thin tube and coarsen out in the main region.

Also use a swept mesh around the tube so you can use high aspect ratio elements.
