CFX or FLUENT

Hi could you please advise me on the choice of CFD package for a wave energy converter. I have a choice of CFX or Fluent.
:)

Hi,

They both can do it. Try them both and use the one which works best for you.

If you use CFX use the fully coupled homogeneous multiphase model.

Hi MAB,

Could you perhaps share with us what you're going to try to model?

Yesterday I posted this ( http://www.cfd-online.com/Forum/main.cgi?read=58358 ) in the Main Forum, asking some questions about CFD applied to wave energy devices ... may be you can help me :)

I donīt know Fluent neither Gambit mesher, but CFX has a good and easy interface to setup the parameters. The CFX-Post part of cfx, for the treatment of the results, is very rich of details. (much more than Tecplot)
