questions in initial conditions and inlet boundary

hi,I'm similutaing a two phase flow.I set the velocity and the volume fraction at the inlet. The same terms could also be specified in domain>initialization.I'm a little confused. what's their relation and difference ?The respective value should be the same or different? thanks

Re: questions in initial conditions and inlet boun

I would say dont worry about domain initilistaion. Just set up your global initialisation values.

thanks,I get somthing . the initialisation value should be the first iterative value .It could be interiorly guessed by "automatic". I consult some tutorials ,they are ususlly the same.

(this arise from my simulation convergence problem.I guess it has someting to do with the initial conditions. Now I find the reason that the boundary conditions are specified improperly. It works now.)
