Hello I'm trying to model a fire that grows in volume starting from a certain point in an object fire (sub domian) somewhere in the domain as function of time. Can this be build using CEL and/or STEP to let the fire source begins with let's say 0,5m^3 , then grows radial in the X-Y coordinates, and grows linearly in +Z direction to a certain height within the object fire.
Any help is highly appreciated. |

Hi,
You can make a series of sub-domains each with a CEL step function driving the sources for the combustion. That way you can step the growth of the combustion area. Glenn Horrocks |
