Hi,

Does anybody know when CFX will get the Fluent "remeshing" capability ?

I got added-mass problems with the explicit FSI methodology of MpCCI+Fluent+Msc.Marc. I tested the implicit FSI methodology Ansys Multiphysics+CFX but the resulted mesh is quite skewed (large deformation with smoothing tools...). I wish CFX get remeshing tools or MpCCI go for implicit formulation.

Does anyone get the same issues ???

I'm also wanting a remeshing capability for my area of study. I was told by ANSYS there will be a global remeshing capability in version 12. As far as I understand Fluent locally remeshes areas that need it, whereas v12 will remesh the whole domain. We'll just have to wait for its release to see.
