simulation of axial flow turbine rotor

dear all i working in CFD using CFX10 i want to simulate axial flow water turbine (only rotor),the available data are mass flow inlet 116m3/s and ahead of 40m ,please how can i change the blade leading edge angle, also i need to study the effet of blade angle on the power output and flow rate, also what the approperiate B.C tha can i setup in my solver.kindly help me to solve this problem. thanks for all sugession

Re: simulation of axial flow turbine rotor

You can't model the rotor only. In order to study axial flow power consumption, you need to setup geometry surrounding your turbine also. Now as inlet you should your pressure boundary, and output should be static pressure outlet. The power requirement can be modeled using CEL expressions. You can study effect of blade angle by making the geometry which suits to your requirement.
