Default boundary condition dilemma

Hi CFX users

I have set up 1D interpolation to simulate a sound (sine wave) through a duct. I want to choose "total pressure" at the inlet. Its values will be read through a text file. I want to choose static pressure at the outlet.

As soon as I start the run solver reports the message "a wall has been place at the inlet and outlet ----". If I use openings it affects my results and I do not get a sine wave that I need. I would have to run same case with case LES so its not wise to use openings. What should I do? Thank you for your help.
