Solid-Liquid Phase Change

Can we model Solid-Liquid Phase change in ANSYS CFX? I have a solid that melts at 117 degrees. I want to simulate it and was wondering if CFX can handle it? Any ideas/ suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks

Re: Solid-Liquid Phase Change

Similar to the one i am looking for.

select 2 fluids, define one continuous and another as dispersed one.In fluid pairs u can provide mass transfer.

Else prepare a Homogeneous binary mixture of a solid and a liquid of the same material, define their saturation properties, use this HBM along with the solid one as your fluid. You will get fluid pairs where in mass transfer you will get that phase change option.

If u get any clues reply back.
