Unhappy temperature defining on surface by the expression

i want to define a relation on the surface by the expression but caught in trouble.

Don't you mean something like:

if(maxVal(variable)@locator > 1, then do this, else do that)

You have just made a simple syntax error.

The units are not defined on the right hand side - as it says in the error message...
