Hi

recently i can not run cfx in paralle model in MPICH model.but i can run it before.i have changed nothing.

error message is :

rm_28007: p4_error: semget failed for setnum: 0 A fatal error has occurred in cfx5remote on cn98:

cfx5remote was interrupted by the user.

An error has occurred in cfx5solve:

The ANSYS CFX solver was interrupted by signal PIPE (13) No results file has been created.

can any one help me ?

Hi,

let me ask you something: if run it in PVM mode("PVM Distributed Parallel") it works? I am having the same problem and if I use PVN it works. but is too much slow...

I am also looking for the solution of this problem.

Hi

i am not try the PVM distributed Parallel way.but i have tried the HP MPI,but it can only run with 2 nodes * 2cpu/node. i think it is problem of share memory. you could turn to the help of parallel run.and you could do the "ipcs" to check the share memory and semaphores,but i can not clean the share memory left over from an abnormally aborted previous ANSYS CFX computation.

Could you solve your problem? i have the same problem when i want to use parallel solver :

The ANSYS CFX solver was interrupted by signal PIPE (13)
