how can we get hydraulic jump model for a channel flow with an obstacle in the path..?

you might have to draw the flow domain and then a semi circle . freez this semi circle and then cut it from the flow domain by BodyOperation. that's how it works in CFX DesignModeller. I don't know about ICEM.

yes i used one already made geometry from the tutorial files of CFX, and trying to make hydraulic jump case.
does anybody has any physical explanation about hydraulic jump, any good notes, if possible.. thanks |
