Impinging Jet in ICEM - Negative volume

Hi everybody,

I have been trying to simulate an impinging jet on a circular plate. The impinging jet comes out from a slot above the plate.

My domain is cylindrical. I did an O-Grid around the slot.

When the meshing of the height-edge is uniform, then the quality of the mesh is best. But everytime that I change the law from uniform to another like geometrical 1 or Poisson, I get very bad angles and negative volumes.

I need to get the first spacing very small in order to simulate correctly the near wall domain. It can't happen with uniform mesh.

I have been stucking there for 3 weeks! Please help me if you have any idea.

Thank you in advance.

have u tried density function for meshing? If uniform meshing is complex then dont do that. now think for unstructred meshing with density function, or try to make different domains and differnt scale meshing for domains. try it
