viscous layer moves

Hi,

In my simulation I have found Mach number 0.2 at the stationary wall. Turbulence model is K-epsilon, y+=10 on the wall. What i have made wrong?

I was meaning: speed of air flow at the stationary wall is bigger than zero... it is nonsense, but i dont understand how to get correct result

Are you calculating a convervative or hybrid value?

Hi Igor,

The "conservative" wall node values actually represent the half volume next to the wall. The "hybrid" values will give you the boundary value (zero for a no-slip wall wall).

I suggest reviewing the documentation on hybrid and conservative values in the CFX on-line documentation. You can also search this forum for many discussions on the topic.

Oh, thank you very much for help )))

However in Hybrid values contour i see Mach number=0.13 on the no-slip wall...

Verify the colour details of the surface you are plotting. If the "Conservative" radio button is selected, the plotted values will be zero.

Sorry , i was wrong, my problem was influence of friction on matched wall

Thankk for help!
