viscous layer moves
Hi,
In my simulation I have found Mach number 0.2 at the stationary wall. Turbulence model is K-epsilon, y+=10 on the wall. What i have made wrong? |
Re: viscous layer moves
I was meaning: speed of air flow at the stationary wall is bigger than zero... it is nonsense, but i dont understand how to get correct result

Re: viscous layer moves
Are you calculating a convervative or hybrid value?

Re: viscous layer moves
Hi Igor,
The "conservative" wall node values actually represent the half volume next to the wall. The "hybrid" values will give you the boundary value (zero for a no-slip wall wall). I suggest reviewing the documentation on hybrid and conservative values in the CFX on-line documentation. You can also search this forum for many discussions on the topic. -CycLone |
Re: viscous layer moves
Oh, thank you very much for help )))

Re: viscous layer moves
However in Hybrid values contour i see Mach number=0.13 on the no-slip wall...

Re: viscous layer moves
Verify the colour details of the surface you are plotting. If the "Conservative" radio button is selected, the plotted values will be zero.

Re: viscous layer moves
Sorry , i was wrong, my problem was influence of friction on matched wall
Thankk for help! |
