Transient Error

While Running a Transient Simulation, the following error message reported. the problem is of a rotating domain.

ERROR #002100012 has occurred in subroutine VolSec. Message: A negative ELEMENT volume has been detected. This is a fatal error and execution will be terminated. The location of the first negative volume is reported below. Volume :-0.3418E-11 Location : ( 0.11619E-01, 0.33515E-04, -0.68488E-02) Can anybody suggest a solution for this?

Re: Transient Error

I think u should check ur mesh. "a negative element volume" error was related to improper meshing.

Re: Transient Error

there is a negative volume in your mesh and the coordinates are also given, please check it.

and check te angular velocity given and time step if you are doing mesh deformation
