mold filling

I am simulating a mold filling, with thermal energy model.

I need some help on temperature modeling.

i put some equation on CEL and put that equation on inlet conditions but no result i can see. because i only see the initial value for domain. Any clue?

sorry for my english

Re: mold filling

Hi,

Rui is a regular on this forum and his thesis used CFX to model filling a cavity with resin. Do a search on the forum for some of his posts. He has also got a link somewhere to his thesis.

Re: mold filling

i did some search and dont find any thing about it.

I saw his thesis and i have a question about how to simulate the Temperature. I saw that Rui uses a Thermal Equation Energy. To determine the Temperature, the Rui implement an equation for Temperature at CCL?

And how the filling stage are separate from the thermal stage? What i mean, is how the equations ar resolver first and second the other?
