use unsteady computation results to other compute

In "ANSYS CFX-solver modeling guide", it says that users can use unsteady values computed from a separate LES simulation to impose the inlet boundary condition.

But can anyone tell me how to use the unsteady computation results from a separate unsteady computation to my inlet boundary condition?

Thanks in advance!

Good morning,

To use results of a computation results file as a boundary condition you must first export the needed results from the file.res or file.trn using the cfx-post/export; the format of the data file must be like that (x y z Pressure) for example. At the second time in the cfx-pre use the user functions to create a new function with the option three dimensional Now you can use the function in the boundary condition box.
