ANSYS ICEM CFD Ver11.0
 

In ANSYS ICEM CFD ver.11, when the mesh is generated, how can I save the mesh file in the format of CFX for CFD work(that is .gtm or .msh)? My program seems to provide FEA solver format only. Please help.

hi there. you can save it by following method. on tab panel you can see there is a option for OUTPUT. by clicking on that you have to select first option which is SELECT SOLVER in that for OUTPUT SOLVER select ANSYS CFX and common structrual solver is ANSYS. (this second option no meaning for this purpose) and apply it. than click on last option which is WRITE INPUT and follow the windows. that it.. you can save any file format using this option.

It is Available in Main Menu->Settings->Product->select "Ansys IcemCfd-Fullcfd version" and say ok

then you can see the cfd solvers

Sir Max, the name of the file will be grid_of_max.cfx5
