Default Workbench Question - Relative Error Spacing

I was wondering if anyone had any experiance using the relative error face/edge spacing option? The manual doesn't go into a lot of detail about how to determine the value for the relative error. It defines the error as delta r / r and says to use a value between 4e-5 and .292 but doesn't provide any guidelines; does anyone have any experience or know any general guidelines for picking a value?

Thanks

John
