open channel flow with a layer of air

I'm trying to model open channel flow with a layer of air on top but it is not working. Any idea on how to place the B.C.'s and set it up to show the waves on the water

thanks

Re: open channel flow with a layer of air

hi there, for this kind of problem, first you have to define two domain one is for water part and second is for air part. in basic setting of domain, you should select air and water as a fluid and in water domain initialisation take water volume fraction as 1 and air volume fraction 0 and in air domain initialisation take air volume fraction as 1 and water volume fraction 0. and specify BC as usual way.
