Drag force difference between Solver and Post

I am interested in finding the drag force of a blunt body.

When the solution is solving, I create a new monitor for the force on the surface in the Z direction. When I go to CFX Post and use the function calculator to get the force in the Z direction for the surface, I get a different answer than the one in the solver.

So which one is right?

Re: Drag force difference between Solver and Post

Could it be that CFX Post adds the viscous shear force? Because all of the drag forces in Post are higher then the ones in the Solver.

Solved, I think

I pretty sure that the difference is in the shear force. I was previously working with very small velocities, so the impact of the shear force was big. But now I'm working with regular velocities, and the impact is negligible.
