particle tracking

Hi everyone!

I have injected some particles in my simulation domain, now I wanna stop injection and just track the existence particles.

But when I start new run(without injection region) using previous result as Initial Values File, I face this error:

"WARNING: Particle database in previous simulation contained variable: PARTITION which was not found in the particle database for this simulation. This variable will not be transferred."

it seems that it can not save the particle tracks properly.

does anyone have an Idea about this?

thanks very much

Regards

Eli

Re:particle tracking (error in saving result)

Hi Eli

I have the same problem. I even switched tut9 in transient mode, then before all particles leave the domain, I stopped the run. when I wanted to restart the result file, the same error occurred!

CFX-POST also reports that "res for particles, does not exist"

can anyone kindly give us some hints?

Jack
