Hi, I am a new user of ANSYS CFX. I am currently wokring on a air-flow through combustor project.

In ANSYS CFX, how could I do a very fine local meshing in the area taht I want ?

By the way, if the results do not converge after running, what should I do to improve that?

Best of regards

Eric

If you are using CFX-Mesh, you can add point spacing and point or line control refinements in areas requiring finer mesh. CFX Help has a good explanation of how to use these controls.

If your model doesn't converge, some of the first things to check are your overally mesh quality and mesh inflation (may require refinement). You can load your mesh into CFX-Post and visualize some of the significant mesh parameters/geometries that affect convergence. Both CFX help and CFX mesh help have some valuable information about mesh quality.
