mesh size for supersonic flows
 

is there a value for mesh size or other parameters which should be taken into account when generating a mesh for supersonic (mach 7) problems? can you give me any hints? is there an easy formula how the elements should be like?

ps: trying to work without mesh adaption because i want to have a transient run.
