input to boundary condition

HI all

i have the heat transfer coefficient values in a 3d domain(like (0,0,0,.5)(-.1,.1,.2,4)) how to give this as boundary condition in CFX.

Re: input to boundary condition

Hi, Babu,

What do you mean HTC values as (0,0,0,.5)(-.1,.1,.2,4)? Do you want to specify HTC for a point? If no, you can set HTC for a wall in the wall boundary details tab. Take a look at the heat transfer option. Of course, you have to active the energy equation.

Good luck.

Hi,

you can use a 3D profile file to define the boundary condition. The format of the profile file is (x,y,z,variable1, variable2, etc...).

See the user documentation for more details on how to apply this to your case.
