particle tracking efficiency

Default particle tracking efficiency

hi anybody explain me how to calculate particle collection efficiency of a system (like filter) which is having a plate as a obstacle which is placed straight to the inlet.after hitting the plate the gas has to go down,after crossing the plate length it goes up to the outlet.at bottom system has dust collection hopper.so, how i should model for this?
