how to moniter moment or torque component

hi. ever one.

i am using CFX 11.0 to calculate the centrifugal pump.but i want to moniter the torque_z@blade during the iteration. but there is no such CEL expression in CFX-pre(CFX-post have),it just a have force()@,,i think it maybe mag. of total toque. how can i moniter the z component during iteration?

thanks

i think u can use the post expression in pre.

?? what is

what i want is to moniter the presure and viscous component of torque in z dirction

You can use the torque_x()@region expression to monitor torque. However, moments about primary axes are already written out by the solver during a run. Just create a new monitor plot and look under MOMENTS in the output selection. You only need an expression if you need the combined moments of multiple regions.

P.S. WebKitForm... is written due to a bug with web browsers (Safari does it, so does Opera, I think).

Hi in output file the moments about primary is written out just at the end of iteration.but not ever time step.i use torque_z@region expression and create the monitor plot by this expressing.,to monitor the torque during the iteration.and at torque has to part on for pressure contribution and the other is viscous.i want to monitor both part during iteration

thanks

Not the out file. During the run the solver writes data to a file name 'mon' in the temp run directory. The contents of this file are merged into the res file at the end of the run to allow residuals and monitor data to be replotted. The file includes a lot more than what is displayed by default.

Create a new plot in the Solver Manager and look at the variables you can plot.
