question from ICEM beginner

Hello,

I used Gambit before. For a 2D problem in gambit, I usually created several surface and then mesh them one by one. Right now, I have to switch to ICEM. I don't even know what is the basic procedure to mesh in ICEM. For example, if a step file is imported into ICEM, there are only points and curves. Should I create surface first as what I have done in Gambit? then mesh the surface? My current task is urgent. Please help. Thanks in advance.

Re: question from ICEM beginner

You can create block or surface. My suggestion is following the tutorials. The first tutorial is to build a typical 2D grid. It is clearly demonstrated.
