Hello,

i will simulate a diffuser with an energy dissipating screen.
In windtunnel experiments, the screen was realized by an screen of wires (with a pressure difference) wich dissipate the kinetic Energy to heat.

In Simulation, I will represent the screen by a POROUS Domain.

My questions:
-Is the POROUS-Domain the accurate way (because I got no good results)?

-And how can I calculate the the Porosity, Permability and the Loss-Faktor when I Know the pressure difference of the screen? (The ANSYSCFX equation 244 is not enough, because I need 2 equations for the 2 variables Pemability and Loss-Faktor)
