geothokar is on a distinguished road
Is it a good idea to limit the maximum number of iterations to a value less than '10' in 'transient simulations' even if more number of iterations consumes more computing time?

Is there any strategies to follow while specifying number of iterations?

Hi,

This is problem dependent. Best do a sensitivity analysis (ie adjust the max its and see the effect on compute time and simulation output accuracy) and determine for your model.
