Decending Temperature to Solid Domain (CHT).

hi all,

i am trying to analyse the heat transfer between the solid and fluid domains (CHT), i,e there is solid domain and fluid is flowing through it and i am trying to calculate the heat transfer between them, i have a probem that i want to give the temperature for the solid domain as decending temperature (i,e high on the top and decreasing to bottom).

can any one help me that how can i do this, thanks in advance.

Hi,

Define a CEL expression, maybe initial temperature = constant1 * (y/constant2 [m]). Make sure the units end up in temperature units hence constant2 has the units of metres.

You can also use 1D or 3D interpolation functions as CEL expressions.
