Dear all,
I am working on Unsteady heat conduction problem with two solid domains and in CFX I could able to generate DISTANCE vs TEMPERATURE plot at particular time interval.

But I am neither able to generate TIME vs TEMPERATURE plot nor can export the values of TEMPERATURE at a particular time.

Hope you help me to sort out this problem...

Hi,

Two approaches can be done:

1) Set up a number of Monitor points along the section you want the plot and get them to output temperature. Run the simulation and you will be able to generate the profile versus time.

2) Setup transient output files to output the temperature field. Then use CFD-Post to extract the temperature data along your section. You can do the charting in CFD-Post if you like or export it and do it in another package.

Can you tall me how did you use unsteady mosel. Because I didn't find unsteady button, I only find steady and transient. Please tell me, thanks!

Unsteady is the same as transient. Same thing.
