pressure drop

Hi,

I have two questions:

1. If the following boundary conditions are set:

inlet - total pressure
outlet - static pressure

what does this mean in reality?

2. How the pressure drop could be obtained by the above mentioned boundary conditions?
Thanks

Hi,

This is discussed in the documentation, please have a read.

Don't forget total pressure includes the component for the dynamic head. So the most meaningful comparison of pressure drop is usually between total pressure in and total pressure out.
