Can CFX user function be used to extract wall pressure and face element area?

Hi all:
I am now doing some work about FSI. I want to extract the wall element area and its cooresponding static pressure. Can user fuction
be used to do this work ?
Thank you for your attention!!

Forget fortran. You can easily do this in CEL. Read the CFX documentation on CEL Expression language.

what about the area and pressure of vertices "

Hi , thank you very much for replying this topic. I want to extract the coordinate, area and pressure of all the vertices of a wall boundary. Is the CEL capable to do this work ?
Thank you !

Hi,

Why do you want the coordinates, area and pressure of all vertices?

The coordinates and force act as loads

Hi,
In case that all the coordinates, areas and pressure of a wall boundary are exported, they can be used to calculate loads. Then the loads will be assert on a structure to calculate its deformation.
Thank you for your attention :)

Hi,

Sounds like a standard FSI model. No need to do anything like fortran to export nodes. Just look in the tutorials for example FSI simulations.
