moving mesh

Hello
I am a student and the subject of my thesis is the modeling of the motion of a pandullum in water using ansys CFX. I want to solve this problem using moving mesh, but I don't wich king of boundary coundition should be chonsen for the upper side of box containing water. I used opening boundary coundition but by accelarating of pandullum in water all water got accelarated spilled out of box. please help me.
regards.

Hi,

If the pendulum only swings through an arc you can model this more easily with a rotating frame of reference. You will have the generate the equation of motion of the pendulum and link it to the RFR rotational velocity as a CEL expression.
