unable to handle model wwith handle "-1" in CFX-Pre

Hi I have made a hybrid (domains are mixed while blocks are unctructured) grid in Gridgen for CFX. I try to import *.grd file into CFX-Pre, It gives ERROR: unable to handle model with handle "-1". I also tried to import Fluent *.cas file but giving the same error. The grid is perfect, I have checked in Fluent, No error, No negative volumes.

Anybody know the solution, kindly answer me. It is very urgent for me.

Sounds like you need to try a few work arounds. Here's a few ideas: Try renumbering the nodes and elements. Try importing it into fluent, saving a case file and importing the case file into Pre.

It might be a bug in CFX-Pre. You should report it to your CFX support person and get it fixed.

Thanks. It works now, there is a problem with the CFX-Pre. That is working now.

Also, if you have confirmed it is a problem in CFX-Pre then you should report it so it can be fixed.
