choosing faces in CFX with imported WB mesh

Dear all,

I would like to import the mesh done in Workbench into CFX to perform FSI analysis. The trouble i face is that once the mesh is imported into CFX, i have to choose particular faces to define inlet, outlet, heat source and air convection faces.

Can i define/name these boundary faces in Workbench first and then once imported in CFX, i can still easily choose these named faces in CFX to define the boundaries please?

Thank you for your kind attention, and i look forward to hear of any comments/tips.

Hello mactech001,

It's possible to name bodies, faces and lines in WB Meshing. You have to make "name selection" in Meshing. Highlight a face, right click select "name selection" then write a name. Generate.
Then you can select this faces in CFX and you can give Boundary Conditions.

I hope it's helpfull
