How would you describe the following y+ plots? If you had to describe what exactly it is showing and what it tells you.

Thanks

I would describe them as very pretty.

But I would also describe them as a little bit high for most purposes. You probably have not achieved grid independance yet so a finer grid is probably required.

Read the section in the CFX documentation on wall boundary modelling for a more detailed description of y+ and what to do with it.

When I perform a y+ analysis, I usually reset the range in the scale bar to the values accepted (e.g., 0 to 100). This way makes the visualization more clear (all the unaccepted values will appear in red, and I can have an idea of the area with 'bad' values).

Best regards,
