mass flow rate (CFX post)

hi,

I want to measure the mass flow rate of a certain area in my model. I have a car and I want to know how much air goes through the radiator. Since the radiator is modeled as a subdomain with interfaces to the main domain, i have actually an already defined face where I want to measure the mass flow rate.

So basically what I want to do is to measure the mass flow rate through a face. How do I do that?

Cheers,
Jon

EDIT: Oh I'm so stupid. If I just use the function calculator and calculate the "massflow" through this face, that's it, right? Cheers!

Yes, as simple as you did. ;)

I wonder if you could shed some light this: why the theoretical values you predict might vary quite a bit from CFX's?
