Hello everyone!
Does anyone know if it's possible to use an open source/freeware Fortran Compiler with CFX 12?
I tried G95, but when trying the air conditioning tutorial I got an error after entering
! system ("cfx5mkext TStat_Control.F") == 0 or die "cfx5mkext failed";
into the command editor.

ERROR CCL parser failed with message:
Perl Syntax errors detected:
cfx5mkext failed at (eval 113) line 1.

It would be very nice if someone could help me.

Thanks

That error has nothing to do with your compiler. Try compiling from the command prompt using:
cfx5mkext TStat_Control.F

thanks for your answer stumpy

I tried that but I get an error:
A fatal error occured incfx5mkext:
The compiler command "ifort" could not be found. Please ensure that the compiler is on your PATH and try again.

I have installed Intel Visual Fortran Compiler Professional, Microsoft Windows SDK and Microsoft SQL Server.
And I made sure that
C:\Programme\ANSYS Inc\Shared Files\bin
is in the Path of Windows System Variables.

What is wrong?

So you're on Windows (rather than linux). The intel compiler is the only option. If you were on linux there's free compilers that will work.
