joining two domains using boundary conditions

hi all,

is it possible to connect the outflow from one domain to the inflow of another domain in ansys? i have specified different fluids in each domain and i want one to flow into the other and mix. any ideas?

cheers.

You might be able to connect them using periodic boundary conditions.

I think you just need the Domain Interface instead of any boundary condition.

Good point - it depends on what you are trying to do. Can you describe what you are trying to do with this inlet/outlet more? Can you post a picture?

I think, if you are using interface for domains, you can use only one fluid type, or am I wrong?

Yeah, I was actually just making the problem more complicated than it needed to be. But a domain interface definitely works best I think.

Thanks for your help guys.
