Hello!
I am using multifield option to simulate a FSI problem (with CFX and Ansys mechanical). Now my question is which coupling algorithm is implemented in the multifield Solver? ALE? Or something different? Can anybody help me? I need it to write something about it in my thesis and I don't find anythig! Greets S.Beta |

ALE is the method used for moving mesh in CFX. Although 2-way FSI implies moving mesh, and therefore ALE will be used, it doesn't really have anything to do with the FSI coupling method. Exactly which part of the coupling are you asking about?
