Hello everyone,
I'm a beginner in cfd and I'm doing a steady state simulation for a centrifugal pump using ansy cfx, but I get CFD results less than Experimental Results within 5% deference, So my question, is it necessary to have CFD results more than Experimental Results? Thanks to all. |

Sometimes the CFD results are higher, sometimes lower. There are many, many things which cause errors, so it could be either way.
See FAQ: https://www.cfd-online.com/Wiki/Ansy..._inaccurate.3F And note that a 5% error is very accurate in some types of CFD (eg heat transfer) but very inaccurate in other types of CFD (low Reynolds Number flows). So whether 5% error is good or not depends on what you are modelling and what accuracy you require.
