FSI error ERROR #001100279(Shell & Tube heat exchanger)
 

DEAR all

I have to solve the problem FSI Modelling Shell & Tube Heat Exchanger (Determine Tubes Vibration) using CFX. I have done the meshing of Tubes & baffles in Transient Mechanical part & Meshing of whole domain (shell, tubes ,baffles) in CFX, defined 2 domains (1) shell side fluid with baffles (2) tube side fluid ,mesh motion to be transfered from ansys to CFX. but at the end, when I start CFX solver, I recieve this error message.

can anybody please help me with this error & exactly what BC i should apply for the problem ?

Have you run out of memory?

RAM is 4 GB
 

my laptop's RAM is 4 GB,dual core processor.could it be the problem?

Start the job up and watch the task manager. Don't forget if are using a Windows 32 bit OS your limit is 2GB, not 4GB.
